Before you start

  • macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later, on an Apple silicon or Intel Mac. One package covers both.
  • The package. Download Billet for Mac: it is always the current version, and saves as Billet-<version>-macos.pkg. Your IT team may give you a copy of its own instead.
  • Your organization's portal address, for example https://portal.example.com.

Install

  1. Open Billet-<version>-macos.pkg.
  2. Follow the installer. macOS asks for an administrator password to install into Applications.
  3. Open Billet from Applications or Launchpad.

The package is signed by its developer and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it without a warning about an unidentified developer. If you see one, the file did not come from your organization's copy of the release: ask your IT team before going further.
